I must update

OK, Ok, I swear this blog is not meant to be soley about my boobs and bras, but after all the complaining I have done I must inform you all that today while I was getting dressed one of the few bras that actually fit me as close to comportable as a bra can fit my lopsided chest has broken, and it is awaiting surgery to repair it--so if you could all please remember it in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this difficult time, as I know it could never be replaced--no really, we don't have the money or the time to go bra shopping, rather yet the patience or the self respect to undergo such a humilating endever, as it truly would be humilating.

On another note, yesterday I was at the mall and I stepped into Claires to check out their earings (that were on "sale" even though I don't think Clairs knows exackly what "on sale" means as if they are never "off sale" then it isn't really a "sale" now is it?) and I was questione by the lovely female sales associate on whether she coudl help me find anything to which, without thinking, I responded with a polite no thinkyou (funny how that is always my gut reaction) then I realized, why yes, yes she coudl so I politely apologized and asked her about plastic earings. When she gave me a look like I crazy and she didn't understand what I was talking about the phrase came out of my " sure she would remember what I was talking about, but instead she suggested plastic backs, I continued to try and explain these earings to her, but she finally said she had no clue what I was talking about to which I thanked her and left the store. As I was walking out of the store I wondered how she couldn't remember the plastic earings from our childhood--and that was when it hit me, my childhood was about a decade before her childhood! and that was when I felt old

So, how many of ya'll remember those fancy plastic earings we use to be able to buy? How many of you owned a few pair? And does anybody have the slightest idea not only when they stopped making/selling them and WHY???? I am allergic to metal earings and was looking for those so I coudl start wearing earings again and not having to buy gold ones.

  1. I totally had cheap plastic earrings, and lots of other cheap earrings. I think that may have helped develop my sever allergic reaction to nickel. (Not that being allergic to cheap jewelry is a bad thing)

  2. it is when you can't afford the expensive stuff, or when you can't seem to keep track of your jewelry--which is why I never wear jewelry (well seldom atleast--I did find soem semi cheap--but still quality-jewelry I can wear)
