And she's gone....

Out of the gate, rounding the corner, she has almost made a clean get away, and then.....

She has been caught and is drug back to the house kicking and screaming as dad say, "Grow up mom, and do the dishes"

NO, I am kidding, usually it is the dogs runnin away from the house in hopes of finding a better life (like it could get any better--speaking of which, did we ever get to feeding them this weekend?) and yet we always seem to find a way to lure them back home, whether it be when someone acts like they are going to pet them only to grab the collar and hold on till we catch up, or when John jumps in the car opening the door like he is driving the "get away car" and Besi unknowingly gets in to be traped and returned.

I don't actually want to run away, no part of me wants to run away, but I did think about taking a long walk in the cool (how cool could it get in Texas in the month of August) nights walk, only to realize that would only start a state wide man hut, granted I would probably find my way home before they noticed me missing, but then again we are out of clean bowls and spoons and since I am the only person who knows how to put away dishes in this family (it seems, Dominic's chore is to put away the silverware, but I have to take it to the china hutch and hollar for 20 minutes before he does so) I am sure John would notice my abscence about 5:30 this morning when he got no reply to "hunny, where is the spoons"

Like I said, I am not planning on running away, just taking a leasurely stroll, but since i don't get otu much I am sure I would be unable to find my way home, so I decided rather than go for a stroll to clear my mind, instead I would get on here and 'finally' post again, since I know you are all starting to wonder just were I went off to, and no I am not lying dead in an alley somewhere--I would have to know where an alley was to be in it in the first place, and since there are no alleys on my block, that would mean I don't know of any.
