attention seeking

(unfortunately our camera is broken so this isn't a picture taken tonight, but thought it went well with what occured)

I want to know why the dog can be more demanding than the husband and son. Why is it than when everyone is gone and I am trying to fold clothes that my Red heeler feels the need to jump onto the clothes pile and stretch out across it--is he really that starved for attention?

how do other try and get your attention?
